Solomon Builds the Temple(A)

In the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv (which is the second month), he began to build the house of the Lord.

The house which King Solomon built for the Lord had a length of sixty cubits, a width of twenty cubits, and a height of thirty cubits.[a] The porch in front of the temple was twenty cubits[b] in length, the same as the width of the house, and ten cubits[c] deep in front of the house.
